If you are a consumer and bought an item from an entrepreneur
In most cases, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the item (and in the case of providing the service - from the date of the contract). To do this, inform the Seller of the withdrawal.
You have to send back the goods within 14 days from the date of sending the statement, and the Seller should at the same time refund you the amount paid (item price and shipping cost). He may, however, refrain from returning the funds until he receives the item.
If you have chosen a delivery method other than the cheapest one offered by the Seller, he is not obliged to refund the additional costs incurred by you. In such a case, you send the item back at your own expense, and the Seller may not demand any (payable) fee from you.
You can withdraw from the contract even if the Seller has not yet sent the item. As in the case of withdrawal after receiving the goods, you must inform the Seller.
The seller cannot stipulate on the item page that he does not accept the return. Such information may violate applicable law.
If you bought from a natural person who does not run a business
The regulations do not give you the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. However, if the Seller includes in the description of the offer that he accepts the return of the goods without giving a reason, then you gain such right. The seller should clearly specify the terms of withdrawal (date, method of return and return costs).
