1. What is an e-invoice?
E-invoice is the electronic version of the invoice issued by us - Allegro.pl. The file with the electronic invoice has legal force equal to the traditional paper invoice. Therefore, if necessary, it can be presented to the tax office to document all fees for using Allegro services. Files with e-invoices can be found in the Invoices tab.
2. How to switch to e-invoice or vice versa?
Go to the Invoices tab. In the upper part of the tab, in the Data and settings section, you will find information about your invoicing format with the [Change] link. To get the invoice in a changed form, change the format in the tab to the last day of the billed month .
3. What determines what invoice I will receive for a given month?
It depends on your choice in the Invoices tab. Make a decision at the latest on the last day of the month for which the next invoice will be issued.
4. Is the e-invoice legal?
Yes. The e-invoice issued by Allegro.pl is in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of 17 December 2010 on sending invoices in electronic form, rules for their storage and the procedure for making them available to the tax authority or tax inspection authority. The electronic invoice file has the legal value equal to a traditional paper invoice, therefore it can be presented at the tax office to document all fees for using Allegro services.
5. Is the e-invoice secure?
Yes. You can access invoices only after logging into Allegro account. It is not possible to download an invoice from another source. We provide invoices as PDF (Portable Document Format) files, secured in a way that prevents invoice data from being changed, in particular:
- editing the content of the document,
- commenting,
- filling in or signing form fields,
- document assembly,
- copying document content,
- separating pages.
We store e-invoice files in a secure archive, and they can only be downloaded using SSL.
6. What is the storage time for e-invoice files in My Allegro?
Files with e-invoices will be available for 7 years from the time they are issued, i.e. 2 years longer than the tax limitation period.
7. What software do I need to have to read the electronic invoice correctly?
For the correct reading of e-invoice files, the current version of the free application that supports PDF files, e.g. Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader, is enough. Some web browsers also allow you to read such files.
8. Are electronic invoices payable?
No. We do not charge for invoicing in electronic form.
9. Does issuing invoices in electronic form mean that they will be available faster?
Yes. Original e-invoices and their duplicates are available immediately after they are generated in the system.
10. How will I know if the invoice on my Allegro account is electronic or regular?
Each invoice is marked as an electronic or paper invoice. Electronic invoices also have an additional marking - the letter e before the invoice number.
11. After opening the electronic invoice, a password request appeared. What to do in this situation?
Files with electronic invoices are not password protected. This may be the result of a malfunctioning program for reading PDF files. Take advantage of current versions of free programs that support these files, for example Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader.
