At Allegro, you can find the Gold coins up to 1800 category. If you are trading in such coins, please read the information below.
Why can you sell only such coins on Allegro?
This is due to applicable regulations. According to them, individual buyers of gold (in the form of bars, tiles and coins minted after 1800) are required to provide data enabling their identification, such as a PESEL number. However, gold sellers do not have the right to legitimize their customers.
Therefore, due to data protection and compliance with applicable regulations, you cannot sell gold in the form of bars, coins or scrap metal on Allegro. The exception are gold coins minted until 1800, because in their case the Buyer is not required to provide a PESEL number.
Who can sell coins minted until 1800?
Only participants of the Professional Numismatics program who have a company account on Allegro and ensure high standards of customer service.
Why only such Sellers can sell in the new category?
Because we care about the security of Allegro transactions and the security of Buyers.
