According to the amendment to the Act on the protection of animals :
- The right to breed cats and dogs for commercial purposes is granted only to farms registered in national social organizations whose statutory purpose is breeding of purebred animals.
- It is forbidden to place on the market (sell) cats and dogs outside their breeding or breeding places. This means that such an animal must be sold (and purchased) at the farm. The sale (and purchase) of dogs and cats on marketplaces and stock exchanges is prohibited.
- The sale of dogs and cats from outside the kennel (i.e. without pedigree) is prohibited. These animals can only be transferred for free.
- Announcements regarding reproduction and mating of dogs and cats can only be placed by registered kennels.
Tips for the Seller
- Include in the description of the advertisement all information about documents and records of the animal offered for sale.
- Provide buyers with the opportunity to conveniently view your breeding and collection of animals.
- By offering live animals on Allegro you commit to provide them with humane transport.
Charity offers and animal adoptions
Offering ads for the adoption of an animal is not allowed .
