What can be in the picture?
The photo should not raise any doubts as to what is the subject of the sale and how many elements make up it. It may present more elements in the event that each of them is offered as a set with the product. This option, however, cannot be used to bypass the main principles of thumbnails and include, for example, the store's logo. There may be freebies in the picture - as long as each buyer receives exactly the same for free with each purchase, it can be presented on a miniature. If your freebies are sent randomly or depend on other factors, don't display them on the thumbnail.
Can a thumbnail contain more than one shot of a product being sold?
Yes, the miniature can present the product in several different shots. The photo should be legible, so we recommend 1-2 shots of the product being sold. Make sure that the photos do not mislead the Buyer regarding the amount of items on offer.
What does the miniature look like if I sell several products in a set?
If you sell product sets, show each item in the picture. Do not add any additional information to the photograph or place items on it that are not included in the set being sold.
What should a miniature look like for a product whose packaging is an integral part, indicating that the product has not been used?
For these products, they should be photographed along with the packaging, but be aware of all thumbnail rules, including the white background.
What does the thumbnail look like in the case of virtual coupons or top-up codes?
If you sell virtual coupons or top-up codes, you can only show their logo or name in the thumbnail image.
How to present covers for books, comics, computer games, movies and music records?
The covers of the mentioned products can be presented on a white background or without any background by filling the entire thumbnail with the cover.
Can I put a watermark on the thumbnails of my offers?
Thumbnails cannot have a watermark.
If I can't use the watermark, how else should I protect my photos?
We secure your photos digitally, saving unique data that allows you to identify the owner of the photos. This labeling of photographs does not change their appearance, and the protection process itself is automatic.
Can thumbnails contain frames, additional graphics or inscriptions?
No, you can not put on the thumbnails any additional graphic objects, inscriptions, pictograms, icons and other ornaments. Other places are used to inform about promotions, shipping, discounts, etc.
Can I put the product manufacturer's logo or the logo of my store on the thumbnail?
You cannot put logos on the thumbnail.

What is the maximum resolution of the thumbnails?
Photos can have a maximum resolution of 2560x2560 pixels. We scale larger to this size (keeping their proportions). On Allegro, you can upload photos with a maximum resolution of 26 Mpix.
Does thumbnail quality affect sorting by relevance?
Yes, sort by relevance takes into account thumbnail rules.
Why should you follow the thumbnail policy?
The purpose of the thumbnails is to present the item sold to the customer in the best possible way. Pictures of products presented on a white background are more attractive, which means more sales. They are also clearer and thus look better in search results.
